The Trinidad and Tobago Chapter of the CTLPA was launched at the 11th Annual Conference of the CTLPA in Nassau Bahamas in June 2008;

In consultation with the Executive of the CTLPA and with reference to Vision 2020 of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago, the Trinidad and Tobago Chapter would have adopted the following Vision and Mission to guide its activities:

Vision

The CTLPA (Trinidad and Tobago Chapter) will facilitate the development of a holistic tertiary education environment through the continuous professional development of student affairs professionals and the promotion of a higher education stakeholder network.

Mission

Improvement of the tertiary education landscape of Trinidad and Tobago through meaningful interaction with student and academic stakeholders, in order to facilitate holistic student learning and the satisfaction of the educational needs of Trinidad and Tobago.
