The Caribbean Tertiary Level Personnel Association, Jamaica Chapter was officially launched on November 6, 2008 at the Mico University College, Kingston Jamaica .

Approximately thirty 30 persons were in attendance at the launch. Since the launch the chapter had approximately four (4) meetings of its executive body.

To date the Chapter has a membership of approximately thirty-three (33) persons including its executive body.
