CARIBBEAN TERTIARY LEVEL PERSONNEL ASSOCIATION’S 13^th ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The Caribbean Tertiary Level Personnel Association’s 13^th Annual Conference was held at the Sunset Jamaica Grande, Resort and Spa in Ocho Rios, Jamaica June 21-24, 2010 with over 70 participants from 3 Caribbean islands and the United States. The theme for the conference was “Innovative Ideas, Exceptional Results – A New Paradigm for Excellence in Caribbean Higher Education”. The theme was chosen to reflect innovative ideas in Higher Education institutions. In line with the theme of the conference issues pertaining to quality education, resource constraints, programme development and the knowledge of “who our students are” were discussed.

The Executive of the Caribbean Tertiary Level Personnel Association would like to thank all of our existing members for their unstinting loyalty and diligence to the Association. To all our new members, we say welcome to you as you join us in our commitment to display exemplary student services performance and development in the Caribbean Region.

Our membership now span across the West Indian islands from The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana. Our numbers are growing and so too is our impact in the arena of student services and development on Caribbean tertiary level institutions and their personnel.

Let’s continue to aspire to great ideals as we soar in this our eleventh year as an Association!!!
